How Nova's online IOP works
Treatment begins with a confidential assessment so our clinical team can confirm that virtual IOP is the right level of care for you. From there:
- 8-week program built around evidence-based group and individual counseling.
- Three sessions per week (Mon/Wed/Thu), three hours each, in your choice of a morning or evening track.
- Relapse-prevention work and continuing-care planning so the gains last.
- MAT and a Family Program available when they’re a fit.
- Join securely from a computer, phone, or tablet. You just need a private space and internet.
What we treat
Nova’s virtual IOP supports recovery from alcohol and a range of substances (including opioids and fentanyl, benzodiazepines, cocaine, methamphetamine, and prescription-medication misuse) with a plan tailored to you.
Virtual IOP for San Antonio residents
San Antonio’s rapid growth and wide footprint mean a treatment center can be a long way from home or work. Virtual IOP closes that gap, join a morning group before your day starts or an evening group once it winds down, from anywhere in Bexar County and the surrounding area. It’s a strong fit if you have responsibilities you need to keep, a supportive home environment, and don’t require around-the-clock medical care. If on-site treatment would serve you better, Nova’s in-person IOP in San Antonio is available, and your team can help you transition either direction.
