Premier Drug and Alcohol Detox with Enhanced Privacy and Amenities

Executive detox in Houston

Executive detox is medically supervised drug and alcohol detox built around the schedule of someone who cannot disappear for a month, with privacy and discretion as part of the design rather than a concession.

Medically supervised detox is usually what makes the move out of active addiction a safe one. What stops people starting is rarely the clinical side: it is privacy, a full diary, or simply being able to get there.

This program answers those directly. Clients receive medication-assisted detox in a high-end environment, with a level of discretion that lets a professional life carry on while they get sober.

Individualized, Evidence-Based Detox Treatment for Drug and Alcohol Addiction

At Briarwood, our experienced, compassionate, and professional staff provides effective medical treatment to combat cravings and reduce uncomfortable symptoms associated with drug and alcohol withdrawal. Our executive detox program is comprised of the following three stages:

  1. Comprehensive assessment: Before your treatment begins, our staff will complete a comprehensive clinical and physical assessment to determine your needs and create a personalized detox program to address them.
  2. Supervised detox: Once your treatment has begun, our staff will monitor your progress to ensure your safety and comfort as we help you gradually ease into a state of sobriety. Our detox programs are completely fluid, meaning treatment will be adjusted as your needs change.
  3. Clinical counseling: Counseling sessions with our clinical staff will address your thoughts, emotions, and questions regarding the recovery process. This will also help you prepare for entry into a rehab program if you choose to continue your treatment after detox.

Executive detox at Briarwood serves as the cornerstone of a well-rounded addiction treatment regimen. Upon completion of your program, our staff will provide recommendations for ongoing treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions About Executive Detox

What makes a detox program "executive"?

Privacy and the ability to stay partly connected to work. The clinical care is the same medically supervised withdrawal management anyone else receives; what differs is the setting, the level of discretion, and accommodation for people who cannot disappear entirely for a week without consequences.

Can I keep working during detox?

To a degree, and within clinical limits. Phone and laptop access is accommodated here, which is unusual in detox. But detox is a medical process and there are stretches (particularly the first days, when withdrawal peaks) where the honest answer is that you will not be in a state to work, and pretending otherwise helps nobody.

How long does detox take?

Medically supervised withdrawal commonly runs three to seven days, though it varies with the substance, how long and how heavily it was used, and any other medical conditions. Alcohol and benzodiazepine withdrawal in particular need medical supervision because they can be dangerous without it.

Will anyone find out I was here?

Not from us. Substance use treatment records are protected by federal confidentiality rules that are stricter than ordinary medical privacy, and information is released only with your written authorization.
